Congregation Beth Sholom was established in 1930.
Adult Academy of Jewish Studies
Lunch & Learn every Wednesday 12:15pm-1:15pm. Followed by Mincha Services.
Monthly Women’s Study Circle.
Times of Services Every Friday evening Services begin 10 minutes after candle lighting times, followed by Kabbalas Shabbos. On Shabbat Morning davening begins at 10am. During the summer months Friday evening Services are at 7:00 P.M. (From Passover till Rosh Hashanah) High Holydays Schedule Rosh Hashanah- Shacharis – 8:30am -Shofar Blowing – 10:30 Yom Kippur- Kol Nidrei – 10minutes after the candle lighting. Shacharis – 8:30am Yizkor– 10:30am Call for exact times for all other celebrations of Chanukah, Purim and all Holidays.

Our spiritual leaders are Rabbi Anchelle & Bluma Perl. The Rabbi and his wife have been our leaders since 1990. Together they have helped build our membership and revitalize our synagogue and community. They have made a tremendous impact upon our congregation and community.
Rabbi Anchelle & Bluma Perl are Chabad Emissaries. The rabbi also is the director of the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education in Nassau County, Chaplain to Winthrop Hospital, and the Nassau County Correctional Center in East Meadow NY.
Rabbi Perl was born in London England. He was educated at the Lubavitch Yeshiva in Brunoy France and received his Semicha Ordination at the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva in Brooklyn NY.
Winthrop University Hospital is a 10min walk from Congregation Beth Sholom Chabad.

Head east on 1st Street towards Mineola Ave. Then turn left onto Mineola Ave. Turn right onto Washington Ave. Destination will be on your right, at end of block. The Shul is located on the corner of Willis Ave and Washington Ave.
